They arrived yesterday and I was so excited to open up the box and dig out my little treats!
Here's what I ordered (from left to right)
- Batiste Dry Shampoo (Original scent)
- Essie Naturally Clean polish remover
- Smashbox Color Correcting Foundation Primer - Adjust (green-toned to reduce redness)
- CND Stickey Base Coat
- Essie nail polish in Tart Deco
I can't review all of the items just yet, because I've only tried 2 of them so far, but I am definitely going to rave about the first product.
I've used dry shampoos in the past - hated the Tresemme ones (tried both kinds they sell) because they didn't work and the smell (to me) was gross. My go-to dry shampoo recently has been Pssst!
It definitely has an odd smell but works a lot better than the Tresemme kind. I figured I'd just keep using this in between my regular shampoos. That is, until I read the rave reviews about Batiste. I tried it out on 2 day dirty hair (I had just gotten it colored and I try not to wash my hair for a few days afterwards) Not only was the smell super yummy, but my hair looked and felt unbelievable. It did a much better job at removing oil and giving me that "I just had a blow-out" look. I think Batiste has converted me! Sorry Pssst (I'm not typing out 6 s's, that's just ridiculous!), it's been a good ride, but I've found a new love.
I used the CND base coat on my toes last night (along with my new bottle of Seche Vite - review on that later) so I can't give an accurate report on that just yet!
I plan on removing polish from my nails with the Essie Naturally Clean later tonight, and painting them with the Tart Deco color, which looks so springy to me! I'll also try out the Stickey base coat again.
And I'm very excited to use my Smashbox primer too!
Check back soon for more reviews :)
